Surf Blue is a bright, clear cyan, the colour of a swimming pool on a hot day. It feels fresh and outdoorsy, and it's a hit with surf schools, seaside cafés, lidos and children's summer clubs.
It's a mid-light colour, so dark inks read best. Navy looks especially good, and black gives sharp text. White works on bold shapes for a beachy look. Keep away from greens and other blues, which blur into the bag.
It's a light cotton tote with a 38 x 42 cm front that takes a design up to 33 x 36 cm. Sponge clean only, which is worth knowing if it's heading to the beach.
