Printed Canvas Bags

Canvas is cotton woven tight and heavy, which makes it one of the best fabrics to screen print. The surface is firm and even, so the ink sits on top and gives solid blocks of colour with clean edges. Heavier canvas has a little more texture than light cotton, so very fine lines are best kept a touch bolder.

Each ink colour is printed through its own screen, one after another, in 1 to 4 spot colours on one side or both. We match to your file or to Pantone references, check your artwork for free and email a proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it. How screen printing works

White ink on black canvas

A white logo on black canvas is a popular look, and it's priced as one colour. Brighter inks such as yellow or pink need a white underbase printed first so the dark canvas doesn't dull them, and the underbase counts as one more colour. Our guide to printing on dark bags shows how it works.

Room for your design

Most of the totes here are 38 cm wide, and the contrast panel and zip totes are wider still. On the two jute and canvas bags, the print goes on the canvas panels. Tell us how big you'd like your design and we'll confirm it fits when we check your artwork.

Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 working days from approved artwork. Three canvas bags are on our express range and can be printed from the next working day: the Premium Recycled Cotton Tote Bag, and the Premium Recycled Canvas Tote Bag and Recycled Canvas Tote Bag in Black or Natural. Express covers up to 500 of each bag per order, and orders after 1pm count from the next working day. An order ships together, so one standard bag makes the whole order standard.

Every order goes by DPD Next Day to UK mainland addresses, charged by weight: from £8.40 + VAT for up to 10kg, then 48p + VAT for each extra kg. An unprinted sample of any bag is £3.95 + VAT postage. Delivery and deadlines
