One design for every guest
Screen printing uses one screen for each colour, and every bag in your order goes under the same screens. That's what keeps the price per bag down, and it's why every bag carries the same print.
The designs that work best are shared ones: your names and the date, the venue drawn in a single colour, a monogram, or a line that means something to you both. If you'd like every guest named, put all the names on one design, like a table plan. Keep the lettering bold enough to print cleanly on fabric.

Hen and stag dos
Hen and stag groups often want a handful of bags with a different name on each. That isn't what screen printing does well: every bag gets the same print, and the one-off screen charge is shared across fewer bags, so each one costs more.
What works is one design for the whole group: the destination, the date and a nickname for the bride or groom, with everyone's names on it together. There's no fixed minimum, so a group of 12 can order 12. See how small runs are priced.
If you want each person's name on their own bag, a local vinyl or embroidery shop will suit a small group better, and we'd rather tell you that now.
Working back from the big day
Pick the day you want the bags in your hands. We'd suggest two weeks before the wedding, so there's time to fill them without a rush.
Turnaround counts in working days from approved artwork. Orders placed after 13:00 count from the next working day. Allow a day for us to check your artwork and send your proof.

Before you order
- Count day guests and evening guests, and decide who gets a bag.
- Add a few spares for the bridal party and for mistakes while you fill them.
- Choose one design for every bag, and check the spelling of every name twice.
- Pick your ink colours. A Pantone reference lets us match your flowers or stationery.
- Choosing between jute and cotton? Order unprinted samples of both from the bag pages.
- Send the bags to someone who will be in, not the venue, unless the venue has agreed to take them.

Questions people ask
Can each guest's bag have their name on it?
No. Screen printing puts the same print on every bag, so we can't print a different name on each one. You can put every guest's name on one shared design, or add a handwritten tag to each bag.
How many wedding bags should we order?
One per guest or one per room, depending on how you'll use them, plus a few spares. There's no fixed minimum: prices on each bag start from 25, and you can type any quantity.
Which bag is best for wedding welcome bags?
A gusseted bag stands up in a hotel room and holds a bottle. The Midi Jute Cotton Canvas Bag (30 x 30 x 19 cm) is a neat size with a printable cotton canvas front, and the Classic Jute Bag (42 x 33 x 19 cm) holds more. For something lighter and softer, choose a natural cotton shopper.
Do you print on hessian bags?
Yes. Hessian is another name for jute, and our jute bags print well with bold designs. Very fine lines are harder to print cleanly on the rougher weave, so keep lettering chunky.
Can you match our wedding colours?
Yes. We match to your file, or to Pantone references if you give them. We print in 1 to 4 spot colours, so two colours from your scheme usually look better than four.
Do you print paper favour bags?
