Eco-Friendly Printed Bags

Our eco-friendly printed bags are made from recycled cotton or organic cotton, and screen printed with your logo in our Leeds studio. There are 16 to choose from, from light 150gsm totes for giveaways to 407gsm organic canvas, and four recycled bags can be printed from the next working day. Prices are live from 25 bags, so you can see what sustainable promotional bags cost before you ask.

What makes these bags eco

Every bag on this page is made from recycled cotton or organic cotton. That changes how the fabric is made, but no bag is green because of its label alone.

Recycled cotton

Recycled cotton is spun from cotton that already exists, such as used textiles or offcuts, so no new cotton is grown for it. All our recycled bags are GRS certified 100% recycled cotton. More on recycled bags

Organic cotton

Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, from seed that hasn't been genetically modified. GOTS checks how the fabric is processed and made up as well as the fibre. More on organic cotton bags

The greenest bag is the one that gets used

A reusable bag only pays its way with use. The Environment Agency (2011) found a cotton bag needs 131 uses to match the climate impact of a single-use plastic carrier bag used once. So choose a bag people will keep: a useful size, a sturdy fabric and a design they're happy to carry. Read are tote bags sustainable? and how we work.

Turnaround and delivery

Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 working days from approved artwork. Four recycled bags are on our express range and can be printed from the next working day: the Recycled Cotton Tote Bag and Premium Recycled Cotton Tote Bag in any colour, and the Recycled Canvas Tote Bag and Premium Recycled Canvas Tote Bag in Black or Natural. Express covers up to 500 of each bag per order, and orders after 1pm count from the next working day. An order ships together, so one standard bag makes the whole order standard.

Every order goes by DPD Next Day to UK mainland addresses, charged by weight: from £8.40 + VAT for up to 10kg, then 48p + VAT for each extra kg. An unprinted sample of any bag is £3.95 + VAT postage. Delivery and deadlines

Questions people ask

Are your eco bags certified?

Yes. The recycled bags are GRS certified and the organic bags GOTS certified. Most also have OEKO-TEX Standard 100 fabric, and the tables above show which.

Is recycled or organic cotton better?

They solve different problems. Recycled cotton reuses fibre that already exists, and organic cotton changes how new cotton is grown. Either way, a bag people keep and use does the most good.

What is the minimum order?

There's no fixed minimum. Prices on each bag's page start from 25, and you can type in any quantity.

Can I order a sample?

Yes. You can order an unprinted sample of any bag from its page. Sample postage is £3.95 + VAT.

Can I get eco bags quickly?

Yes, on the four recycled bags in our express range, which can be printed from the next working day. The rest take 7 to 10 working days from approved artwork.

Can I print "recycled" or "organic" on the bag?

Printing "made from recycled materials" on a recycled bag is fair. For an organic claim, or to name a certification such as GRS or GOTS, ask us first so we can check the wording.
