Sizes are width x height; drawstring bags are flat, with no gusset. The stuff bag is hand wash only, and the others are sponge clean only.
Printing custom drawstring bags
A drawstring bag is flat, so the whole front is a clean surface to print on. Most people put a logo or crest in the middle of the front, clear of the drawstring channel at the top and the cord fixings at the bottom corners, and often a sponsor or web address on the back. We place your design on the proof, so you see exactly where it sits before anything is printed.
Coloured and dark bags
Drawstring bags are usually ordered in club or school colours, so the ink goes on a coloured bag. White prints bright on black, navy or bottle green in a single colour. Most other light or bright inks need a white underbase printed first, which counts as one more colour. Our guide to printing on dark bags shows the difference.
Detail and colours
We print in up to 4 spot colours a side, and each colour needs its own screen with a one-off screen charge. A detailed crest may need simplifying, and a one-colour version is often the best file to send. We check every file for free and email a proof, and nothing is printed until you approve it. Turnaround and delivery
Printed drawstring bags take our standard 7 to 10 working days from the day you approve your artwork. None of our drawstring bags are on the express range, because we order them in from the maker for each job. For a start of term, a season or a race day, order a couple of weeks ahead.
Every order goes by DPD Next Day to UK mainland addresses. Delivery is worked out by weight in the basket: from £8.40 + VAT for the first 10kg, then 48p + VAT for each extra kg. Working to a date? See delivery and turnaround.

What is the minimum order for printed drawstring bags?
There's no fixed minimum. Prices on each bag's page start from 25, and you can type any quantity, so one squad can order as easily as a whole club. You can also order a single unprinted sample first.
How much do custom drawstring bags cost?
It depends on the bag, the quantity and the number of print colours. Every bag page shows a live price per bag, and the table above shows the Cotton Drawstring Bag. One colour on one side is the best value, and bigger runs cost less per bag because the screen charge is spread over more bags.
How long do printed drawstring bags take?
Our standard 7 to 10 working days from approved artwork, then DPD Next Day delivery to UK mainland addresses. Our drawstring bags aren't on the express range.
Can you print drawstring bags on both sides?
Yes, in 1 to 4 spot colours on each side. Clubs often put the crest on the front and a sponsor on the back. The second side needs its own screens, so price the bag with both sides printed. Double-sided printed bags
Can you print gym bags with our logo?

Are drawstring bags waterproof?
The Polyester Drawstring Bag is water resistant, which keeps off a shower but isn't the same as waterproof. The cotton drawstring bags aren't water resistant.
