Burgundy is a deep wine red with a hint of brown in it, darker and quieter than a true red. Wine merchants, gastro pubs, university colleges and heritage brands tend to go for it, and it hides everyday grubbiness far better than a pale bag.
Print it in cream, pale gold or white and the result looks rich and a little traditional. Pale pink is a softer option that florists like. Black and navy sink into the colour, so we'd leave those out.
The bag is 100% cotton at 140gsm and 38 x 42 cm, with 67cm handles for the shoulder. Sponge clean only.
