Printed bags with no minimum order

There's no minimum order. Every bag page shows prices from 25 bags, but you can type in any quantity, so 10 printed bags is fine. Small runs cost more per bag because the screens cost the same however many you print, and this page shows how to keep that down.

Why small runs cost more per bag

Screen printing has one fixed cost: the screens. We make a screen for each ink colour in your design, and it costs the same whether we print 10 bags or 1,000 through it. On a big run that charge all but disappears into the price of each bag. On a small run it's a large part of what you pay.

Everything else is priced per bag: the bag itself and the ink that goes on it. So the maths of a small order is simple. Fewer screens means a lower total, and a few extra bags cost far less than the first few.

Getting the most from a small order

A small order can still be good value. These make the biggest difference, roughly in order.

  • Print one colour. Each extra ink needs its own screen, and on 25 bags you feel that on every bag. A one-colour logo in black, white or your brand colour almost always looks sharp.
  • Stick to one bag colour. Each bag colour is its own print run with its own screens, so 25 natural and 25 black costs more than 50 natural.
  • Print one side, or the same design on both. The same design on the back reuses the front screens, so it only adds a print charge on each bag. Double-sided printing explained.
  • Pick a lighter bag. A 150gsm cotton shopper does the job for events and giveaways. Heavier canvas is lovely, but it costs more per bag. Our lowest-priced full-size bag is the Recycled Cotton Tote Bag.
  • Round up. Once the screens are paid for, each extra bag only costs the bag and the print. Check the price at the next quantity up before you settle on a number.
  • Choose standard turnaround if your date allows. Express adds a fee to the print cost; standard adds nothing.

Questions people ask

Is there a minimum order for printed tote bags?

No. Our bag pages show prices from 25 bags, but you can type any quantity into the configurator and see the price straight away. There's no fixed minimum.

Can I order just 10 printed bags?

Yes. The price per bag is higher, because the one-off screen charge is shared between fewer bags, but there's nothing stopping you. The table above shows what 10 bags cost on our lowest-priced bag.

Can I get a single bag with a name on it?

Not from us. Screen printing puts the same print on every bag, so it doesn't suit one-offs or a different name on each bag. A local shop that does heat transfer or direct-to-garment printing will suit you better. For a group, such as a hen party or a team, one shared design with everyone's names on it works well. Can I have some bags in one colour and some in another?

Yes. Add each bag colour to your basket as its own line. Each colour is printed as its own run with its own screen charge, so on a small order one bag colour is the lowest price.

Can I see the bag before I order?

Yes. You can order an unprinted sample of any bag from its page. The sample price is shown there, and sample postage is a small fixed charge. More about samples.

Can I get a small order quickly?

Yes, if you choose a bag from our express range. We keep those in stock and can print from the next working day. Other bags take 7 to 10 working days from approved artwork.
