Yellow marl is a soft, buttery yellow with a flecked finish, a long way from high-vis. It has a sunny, relaxed feel that suits bakeries, honey producers, summer fetes and children's bookshops.
On a pale yellow, strong dark inks give the best contrast. Black, navy and dark brown are all reliable, and a deep orange can look warm without clashing. White and light yellows are a no, as they'll barely show.
The bag is made of 100% post-consumer recycled cotton, a blend of natural and coloured fibres that gives the marl its texture. It's Oeko-Tex certified, 38 x 42 cm, with strong handles long enough for the shoulder. An unprinted sample will show you the shade properly.
