Burgundy sits somewhere between red wine and an old leather armchair. It's a grown-up colour, and it turns up a lot in school house colours, rugby strips and university societies that want something less loud than bright red.
White and cream inks look classy on it. Gold-yellow works well for a crest, and pale pink can be striking if your brand leans that way. Black and dark green won't show up much, so leave those for lighter bags.
This is our standard cotton gymsac: 140gsm 100% cotton, 12 litre capacity, 37 x 46 cm, closed with white rope cords. Cotton takes a screen print well and feels nicer in the hand than polyester, which people notice when they're given one.
