Bottle green is a deep, old-fashioned green, the shade you'd find on a school blazer or a cricket pavilion door. It suits anyone with a bit of heritage to show off: rugby clubs, grammar schools, golf societies, garden centres.
Being dark, it wants a light ink. White is the obvious choice and looks crisp against the green, while cream, gold-yellow or a pale sky blue give a softer, more traditional feel. Keep away from mid greens and browns, which blur into the background.
The white rope cords pick up any white in your print nicely. It's a 100% cotton bag, 140gsm, 37 x 46 cm and 85g, so it's light enough to hand out by the hundred at a sports day. Send us your crest and we'll check the artwork for free before you see a proof.
