Black jute is a slightly surprising look. You still get the woven texture, but it reads dark and moody rather than rustic, which is why record shops, tattoo studios, coffee roasters and fashion labels ask for it.
It needs light ink. White is the obvious winner, and bright yellow, orange, pink or pale blue all stand out well. Mid and dark colours will sink into the black weave, so check your logo works in a light version before you order.
The bag is heavyweight laminated jute, 42 x 33 x 19 cm, with cotton carry handles and a large print area on the side. Keep designs bold, since the texture of jute softens very fine lines. Wipe clean with a sponge.
