Fern is a muted grey-green, the colour of bracken in late summer, earthy and calm. Walking groups, nature reserves, plant nurseries and outdoor clothing brands tend to like it.
Light inks look best. Cream and white print cleanly, and a pale mustard or soft orange gives a warm, outdoorsy contrast. Dark greens, browns and black won't have enough contrast to read.
The tote is 280gsm canvas made from GRS certified recycled cotton and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. It's 38 x 42 x 10 cm, holds about 21 litres, and its gussets let it stand up for hands-free packing. We'll send a proof for approval before printing.
