This is the recycled canvas tote with a structured base, and black suits its slightly architectural shape. Set it down and it stays upright, which makes it handy at a till or a market stall when you're filling it with both hands.
On black canvas, white ink looks crisp and a little graphic. Pale pinks, yellows and light blues also stand out well, and a two-colour design with white plus one bright is a good way to add some personality. Dark greens, browns and navies won't show.
It's made from 100% post-consumer recycled cotton canvas, sturdy enough for heavier items, with side gussets and a 10 cm depth. The long straps are comfortable on the shoulder. The fabric holds GRS and Oeko-Tex certification, and it's hand wash only.
