Reading the table
- Printed from is the lowest price per bag for a one-colour print on one side, at our largest quantities, before VAT and the one-off screen charge. Your price depends on the quantity, colours and sides you choose, and each bag's page shows it exactly.
- Sample is the price of one unprinted sample, before postage.
- Size is width by height, then depth if the bag has a gusset.
- Fabric weight is in grams per square metre (gsm). A higher number means a thicker, sturdier fabric. Our gsm guide explains more.
- Handles is the handle length where the maker gives one. Long handles go over the shoulder; short ones are for carrying in the hand.
- Capacity is how much the bag holds in litres, where the maker gives it.
- Colours is how many bag colours you can choose from.
- Express tells you whether the bag is in our express range, which can be printed from the next working day.
What to compare for your use
- Handing bags out at an event? Compare the price and the fabric weight. A lighter bag is easier to carry in bulk and to hand out. See conference bags.

Questions people ask
What does gsm mean?
Grams per square metre: the weight of the fabric. A higher number means a thicker, sturdier fabric. Our bags run from 140gsm cotton to 410gsm jute. More in our gsm guide.
What is a gusset?
Extra fabric in the sides and base that gives the bag depth, so it can stand up and carry boxes and bulky shopping. A bag without a gusset lies flat.
Is the "printed from" price what I'll pay?
It's the lowest price per bag, for one colour on one side at our largest quantities, before VAT. Your price depends on your quantity, colours and sides, plus a one-off screen charge for each colour. Each bag's page shows your exact price as you choose.
What's the difference between cotton and canvas?
Canvas is a heavier, tighter cotton weave. Our light cotton totes are 140 to 150gsm and our canvas bags are 220 to 407gsm. Our guide to cotton, jute and canvas compares them properly.
