This purple is deep and rich, somewhere between plum and violet. It stands out from the usual sea of blue and black bags, which is why universities, theatres, dance schools and some charities make it their colour of choice.
Light inks work best on a dark purple. White is crisp, and yellow gives a striking complementary contrast. Pale lilac or pink can look elegant for a subtler print. Black and dark blue inks won't read well.
It's a 5oz tote in recycled cotton and polyester, 38 x 42 cm, soft to hold and tough enough for day to day use. It's a good way to get a bit of colour into lots of hands at an open day or a first night.
