Graphite is a strong charcoal grey that doesn't look like it's trying too hard. It's darker than it appears on some screens, closer to slate than to silver, and it's a good fit for tech companies, engineering firms and cycling shops.
Contrast comes easily with white or yellow ink, and warm colours like orange and coral look especially good against the grey. If your logo is black, it will show, but only as a subtle dark print, so it's better on a bold shape than on small lettering.
