French Navy is a very deep navy, nearly black indoors, and in the heavier 200gsm cotton it looks particularly smart. With matching navy cords it's all one colour, which gives it a more tailored feel than a standard gymsac.
It suits staff welcome packs, independent schools, sailing and rowing clubs and golf societies. Basically anywhere navy is already on the uniform.
White ink is crisp and classic on it. Gold-yellow gives a blazer-badge look, light blue is softer, and red with white feels suitably nautical. Steer clear of darker inks.
The bag holds 12 litres, measures 37 x 46 cm and weighs 120g, with external cord attachments. The smoother print surface helps small text stay sharp.
